SCDOT encouraging drivers to submit problem areas for "Pothole Blitz"

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) -- State transportation officials are encouraging drivers to reach out to them in an effort to make roads safer in South Carolina.
The South Carolina Department of Transportation is holding a “Pothole Blitz,” which will see crews out tackling potholes across the stat
e for the next several weeks.
SCDOT said drivers can submit a maintenance work request at the link below for a state-maintained road so crews can add the problem road to the list.

Winter weather caused an increase in potholes and worsened existing ones, according to SCDOT.
If drivers encounter crews, they are asked to slow down and proceed with caution. ...read more read less
