Patriots release 10season veteran center David Andrews

FOXBORO, Mass. (WLNE) — The New England Patriots have released center David Andrews after a decade on the team’s offensive line, according to a statement from the team.
Andrews, 32, first joined the team as a rookie free agent in 2015, earning the starting center position for the Patriots.
He p
layed 124 regular season games with 121 starts and is a two-time Super Bowl champion with the team.
“The importance of his leadership during his career cannot be overstated. David is a true professional, and his impact on this organization will be felt for many years to come,” said Patriots owner Robert Kraft.
“On behalf of the entire Kraft family and the New England Patriots, I want to express my deepest gratitude for his countless contributions, and we look forward to celebrating his remarkable career.”
