INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WANE) The Hoosier Lotto jackpot recently grew to $42.5 million; the fourth largest in game history. And someone who bought a ticket in Tell City for Wednesday's drawing will soon be considerably richer. The winning ticket, which matched the winning numbers of 10-16-24-33-39- 46, was sold at a gas station. “Congratulations to our newest Hoosier Lotto jackpot millionaire,” said Hoosier Lottery Executive Director Sarah M. Taylor. “Since its first drawing in 1990, Hoosier Lotto has remained Indiana’s hometown favorite jackpot game.” Wednesday’s jackpot was only the fifth time in Hoosier Lotto history that the jackpot has topped $40 million. The largest Hoosier Lotto jackpot win occurred on Nov. 7, 2007, and was worth an estimated $54.5 million. The most recent Hoosier Lotto jackpot win occurred on Dec. 6, 2023, and was worth an estimated $44 million.
