(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 101 is inviting all veterans who served during the timeframe of the Vietnam War to attend the Vietnam Veterans Recognition ceremony being held on Saturday, March 29. The event is being held in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the fall of Saigon and to honor the service of those who served in Vietnam. The event is open to all Vietnam Veterans and their families, as well as anyone who wishes to come show appreciation for their service. Light snacks will be served and a canteen will be open, with social time starting at noon and the ceremony and recognition at 2 p.m. The event will be held at the VFW Post 101 at 702 South Tejon Street.
