WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) — A special Warwick School Committee meeting on Tuesday night is scheduled to give an update on the constriction of the city's new high schools. Construction on the upgraded Pilgrim High School will begin in April and Toll Gate High School in May, according to a public forum. Students and staff will then be able to move into the buildings in the summer of 2027. It was revealed in October that the cost to build the schools would be nearly $40 million more than the $350 million bond voters passed.
