LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Donations are pouring in to help a family recover after a devastating house fire over the weekend on Brighton Place Drive.
According to the Lexington Fire Department, the fire occurred Sunday morning. Firefighters say no one was inside the home when crews arrived, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
In the wake of the tragedy, a Meal Train account has been set up to support the Schuetz family, which reportedly lost nearly everything in the fire. According to the page, nearly $10,000 has been raised to assist them.
Additionally, a meal drop-off site has been established on Lakeside Drive for those wishing to contribute.
