BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- Over 160 people have donated to the Summit Center in honor of Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid following the team's loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in Sunday's AFC championship game, the organization announced. The donations poured in after Kincaid missed Josh Allen's downfield throw on fourth-and-5 with two minutes left on the clock in the final quarter. The Summit Center, an organization that provides programs for people with autism and other developmental disabilities, said Kincaid has been advocating for the center since 2023. The center said just minutes after the game, Bills, Ravens and Chiefs fans posted to social media calling for people to make donations. Bills succumb to more Mahomes magic in losing AFC championship game For the past two years, Kincaid has selected the Summit Center as his charity of choice for the NFL's "My Cause My Cleats" initiative, where players represent their charities on a customized pair of cleats. He also visited the center in April 2021 for Autism Acceptance Month. “Our students and families are still talking about Dalton’s visit last spring. The atmosphere was electric when he entered the building,” said Mary Bennett, superintendent of Summit Academy, in a statement. “Not only is he an incredible athlete, but he has a big heart, and that was evident during the time he spent with our students.” Donations can be made here.
