(KRON) -- Crews extinguished an encampment fire early Sunday evening in Alameda, the Alameda Fire Department posted on X. The fire broke out on the 3000 block of Main Street. Alameda firefighters responded to the blaze at around 5:10 p.m. The fire was contained to the side of the road and some nearby vegetation, officials said. No injuries were reported.
