Good morning! I hope you had a nice weekend. It was a chilly weekend, but at least it was mainly dry. Today is the 10 year anniversary of one of the more impactful storms in Southern New England history....the Blizzard of 2015, sometimes referred to as "Juno". The snow actually began on the 26th, but most of the 19.1" that fell on the Providence area came on the 27th. More than 2 feet fell in parts of northwest Rhode Island. In addition, 40-65mph winds roared through Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts. The blizzard started what is likely the harshest stretch of weather anyone had witnessed in their lifetime.
