Gusty winds bring thawing temperatures today

This week, there are big changes to the forecast with gusty southwest winds bringing much warmer temperatures.
Take the sunglasses along today but you'll still need the winter coat with temperatures only in the upper 20s by noon.
It will be warmer this afternoon
Winds begin to pick up this afternoon, with gusty southwest winds to 40 mph warming temperatures into the upper 30s.
Winds will gust up to 40 mph this afternoon
The gusty winds continue, especially during the evening, with temperatures dropping into the upper 20s by sunrise Tuesday.
There's a slight chance of a snow showers this evening
It won't be quite as windy Tuesday, but it will be warmer with high temperatures near 40 by late afternoon.
Winds will pick up again Wednesday with gusts up to 40 mph with temperatures in the upper 30s under partly cloudy skies.
Thursday and Friday will be the warmest days of the week, with temperatures in the middle to the upper 40s Thursday and in the middle 40s Friday.
A fast-moving weather system will bring in some rain Friday afternoon and evening and will drop temperatures into the lower 30s for the first day of February, on Saturday.
Temperatures will bounce back into the middle 40s with cloudy skies on Sunday.
It will be colder next week with temperatures in the lower to the middle 30s.
