ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – Two people were found dead in a home in Pittsford Sunday night as crews responded to the Callingham Road residence for a reported fire, the Pittsford Fire Chief confirmed. The fire was first reported around 8:30 p.m. at 82 Callingham Road. Additional crews responded to the scene after the second alarm was declared. Neighbors called the fire in, claiming two people inside the home were trapped, according to the chief. The identities of those who died were not immediately available. The chief told News 8 no one else was inside at the time. Callingham Road is closed to traffic for the time being. It's unclear when the area will reopen.
