(BCN) -- A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle in Vallejo this weekend, police said Sunday. On Saturday just before 8:30 p.m., officers responded to Sonoma Boulevard and Lemon Street and found an unresponsive male lying in the road. Despite the efforts of first responders, the man was pronounced dead at the scene. ICE agents carry out operation in San Jose, mayor says According to police, the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated fully with the investigation. Preliminary findings indicate that alcohol and drugs were not contributing factors in the collision. This was Vallejo's first traffic fatality in 2025, the department said.
