TOPEKA (KSNT) - Championship Sunday is here and everyone was out excited to watch the games. It also means that sports bars spent the day gearing up for a long day ahead of them. Johnny's Tavern is just one of many spots who know the energy would be electric with their full staff.  "Kinda like a normal day for us," Sierra Moore, assistant general manager at Johnny's Tavern, said. "We're very fortunate to have the staff that we do. They really provide us with the reassurance that we don't need to schedule any extra people. They always come in here with their heads on straight ready to rock and roll during these games and they really are the big reason why the environment is electric in here during the games." Academy Sports prepares ahead of AFC Championship game Jeremiah Bullfrogs has seen this energy all season as well. Full house, full of energy and fan excitement for the chiefs. Employees say they are decked out and prepared for a full night of cheering.  "We're a pretty strong team," Amari McGlory, Jeremiah Bullfrog employee, said. "It's like a bullfrog's family here. So, all of the staff is very welcoming and are always helping each other out so like we're prepped."  Chiefs fans know how to be loud, and both restaurants say the environment goes crazy during the games and expect tonight to be no different.  For more local news, click here.
