The National Weather Service issued an updated winter storm watch at 8:23 p.m. on Sunday valid from Monday 7 p.m. until Tuesday 6 a.m. for Oswego County.The weather service states to expect, "Heavy lake effect snow possible. Total new snow accumulations 4 to 7 inches possible in the most persistent lake snows. Winds could gust as high as 50 mph producing blowing and drifting snow and dangerous whiteout conditions."
