MINOT, ND (KXNET) — This weekend, the City of Minot battled a water break that affected nearly 20 people. But now, officials say water has been restored.
It happened yesterday.
The City of Minot says that the water break happened on 2nd Street Southeast.
They say the frost line was deep, making it difficult for crews to find the leak.
However, crews were able to repair the leak and restore water to local residents.
Officials say 2nd Street was closed throughout the night, so crews could work on a larger repair done today.
The City of Minot wants to thank their team for working so quickly to bring water back to residents.
