ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – A 37-year-old man from Rochester was arrested Saturday evening after officers with the Rochester Police Department say he entered a convenience store and threatened store staff with a machete. Officers say this happened in Rochester on Portland Avenue near Lochner Place at around 10:25 p.m. Officers charged the suspect with menacing in the second degree and issued an appearance ticket to appear in court at a later date.
