VICTOR, N.Y. (WROC) – Deputies with the Ontario County Sheriff's Office arrested a 42-year-old man from Syracuse after they say he was driving 101 miles per hour in a 65-miles-per-hour zone in Victor on Interstate 490 Saturday.
Deputies say Lonnie N. Spruiel was operating a rental vehicle and was using a suspended driver's license while his 14-year-old daughter was in the back seat. According to deputies a passenger of the vehicle was the only authorized driver on the rental agreement and had a valid New York State driver's license.
Spruiel was taken into custody for aggravated unlicensed operator in the second degree and endangering the welfare of a child. Spruiel was issued traffic citations and an appearance ticket. He will appear in Victor Town Court to answer to his charges at a later date.
