EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — In support of the American Tinnitus Association (ATA), El Paso and Las Cruces Bubba's 33 and Texas Roadhouse locations will donate 100 percent of profits on Monday, Feb. 3.
In honor of the late company's founder, Kent Taylor, the restaurants will donate all dine-in and to-go sales to the ATA, the companies said in a news release.
According to the ATA, tinnitus is the perception of sound when no actual external noise is present and is commonly referred to as "ringing in the ears." Over 26 million adults in the U.S. battle tinnitus.
“As we strive to provide better access to information and fund advanced research for improved treatments and cures, we are grateful for the ongoing support of Bubba’s 33,” Patrick Lynch, ATA CEO, said.
“By supporting ATA, Bubba’s 33 and our family of employees honor the life and vision of our founder, Kent Taylor, who was passionate about helping others,” Texas Roadhouse CEO and President Jerry Morgan said. “The Bubba’s 33/Texas Roadhouse-ATA partnership is driven by the heartfelt desire to ensure that everyone is aware of tinnitus, its prevention and what can be done to manage it."
