ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A local group is getting ready for the upcoming baseball season by clearing out the fields from all those delicious weeds. "They're very competitive eaters. So they'll fight each other over food, so if one of them wants something, the other one's always want it. So they work pretty quick," says Lucas Goodrum, Herd Manager with Galloping Goats Youth Ranch.

Kids from the Mile High Little League joined in on the event. They had an opportunity to meet the adorable weed trimmers that they hired from Galloping Goats.
This is the third year in a row that this goat herd was cleared the way for the little league season. Registration to play starts Saturday and goes through February with the first games starting in mid-March.
This league accepts T-ball all the way to 16 years old.
