2025 Girl Scout cookie season starts in San Diego with new flavors

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- It's that time of year again. Girl Scout Cookie season in San Diego is back.
The 2025 Girl Scout Cookie season runs from Sunday, Jan. 26 to Sunday, March 9, 2025, in San Diego and Imperial counties.
Girl Scouts discontinuing 2 cookie varieties after 2025 season
You can place cookie orders online and have them personally delivered or shipped to you. Cookie booths will open starting Friday, Feb. 7.
This year, Girl Scouts San Diego will be partnering with ABC Bakers.

Girl Scout Cookie fans can look forward to a new cookie lineup for the 2025 season:

Thin Mints
Peanut Butter Patties
Caramel deLites
Peanut Butter Sandwich
Caramel Chocolate Chip (gluten-free certified)
Toast-Yay!
Lemonades
Adventurefuls
Eight cookie varieties will be available for $6 per package, while the gluten-free certified Caramel Chocolate Chip is a specialty cookie that will be sold for $7.
There will be no s’mores cookies sold in San Diego this year as that cookie, along with the Toast-Yay, are set to be discontinued nationally at the end of the 2025 cookie season.
Girl Scouts San Diego celebrates 23 years of Operation Thin Mint
All Girl Scout cookies produced by ABC Bakers are certified kosher and halal. There are also vegan and gluten free cookie options.
The Girl Scout Cookie Program helps girls learn life and business skills, like goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills and business ethics.
Girl Scouts San Diego celebrates International Women’s Day with community partners
The Southern California community can donate cookie boxes for Operation Thin Mint, a program that originated in San Diego and benefits military troops and veterans. At the end of the cookie season, the community can come out to the Operation Thin Mint Family Festival at the USS Midway Museum on Saturday, May 17 from 6 to 9 pm.
Girls Scouts says 100% of proceeds from cookie sales stays local in San Diego and Imperial counties.
