Driver speeds down the wrong side of the 15 Freeway in Norco, crashes into vehicle

A car traveling the wrong way on the 15 Freeway crashed into another vehicle in Norco early Saturday morning, Jan. 25, the California Highway Patrol said.
Around 2:30 a.m., CHP officers received multiple reports of a vehicle traveling south on the northbound side of the freeway at a high rate of speed, Sgt. Calderwood said. The driver passed the exit to Limonite Avenue and crashed into another vehicle near the Sixth Street exit.
The victim was transported to a hospital for unknown injuries. The suspect driver was placed under arrest at the scene.
Drugs or alcohol are believed to have been involved. No further details were available.
