Pet Pals TV: The Indy Winter Classic returns Jan. 29 INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Each and every week, “Pet Pals TV” shares a fun, interesting, and informative story about our-four legged and furry friend population. On the latest “Pet Pals TV,” David Daugherty and Mary McGee, from Indy Winter Classic, talked about the thousands of dogs who will be on display at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. Starting Jan. 29, visitors can go up and talk to breeders to learn about any breed of dog that they can find. “You can look for the breed that you follow, or come out and – who knows – you may see another breed that you never thought about,” Daugherty said. “… We’re more than happy to talk to you and share our knowledge for as long as you’re willing to listen,” McGee said. The Indy Winter Classic is the last big event in dog shows before Westminster. “A lot of the top dogs in the country are going to be coming through Indianapolis,” Daugherty said. “They’ll leave for our show and they’ll go to New York to show at the Westminster Kennel Club. So this is your perfect opportunity to come and see in-person the very top dogs in the country.” The Indy Winter Classic will be at the Indiana State Fairgrounds Jan. 29 – Feb. 2.
