CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (WNCN) – Three suspects are now on the run after state troopers said they led them on an overnight chase across Orange County on Saturday.
According to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, a trooper tried to pull over a vehicle around 2:31 a.m. traveling at 113 miles per hour in a 65-mile-per-hour zone on I-40 westbound near the 266-mile marker in Orange County.
The driver failed to stop while troopers attempted the traffic stop, resulting in the ensuing chase.
