Sunny and seasonal to end the weekend

The Latest from Storm Team 5..
We had a cold front move through the area today, which brought in a few snow showers and flurries. It was also fairly mild today, with temperatures getting into the 30s, and hitting 40 in Sheboygan. Now that did come with a bit of a wind, as gusts were between 30-40mph especially as the front moved by.
For tonight, plan on any clouds to scatter about, but the cool air will rush in behind the front, so temperatures will fall off fairly quickly. Expect low temperatures in the single digits and low teens lakeside, with wind chills between 5 and 15 below zero.
The emergence of mostly sunny skies and a slight wind shift to the SW will help temperature rebound after a cool start into the low to mid 20s, pretty typical late January weather. Winds will be gusting around 25mph, especially for the afternoon and evening.
Mostly clear skies for Sunday night, turning partly cloudy late in the day. Winds however will get a bit stronger, gusting to 30-35mph. This will help keep temperatures from falling back into the single digits.
After some early sunshine, plan on skies turning mostly cloudy on Monday. There will likely be a few flurries in those clouds, but nothing will accumulate since temperatures will be a bit too warm. Highs surge into the middle and upper 30s, but the winds will eb fairly strong, gusting around 40mph.
Watching a clipper system make its way into the area Monday night into Tuesday. This could bring around an inch of snow along the WI/U.P. border & northern Door county, with little to no accumulations south of there. Temperatures start a cool down back to average.
A few flakes still linger Wednesday before a beautiful end to the week moves in. We will have to make sure to enjoy it because a messy rain and snow mix is possible Saturday...something to monitor.
