INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Central Indiana has been in the deep freeze for the past week. Near-average temperatures will definitely make for a warmer weekend feel to the forecast. The month of January as a whole has been a cold one.
TODAY: Cloudy to mostly cloudy skies. An isolated flurry or sprinkle can’t be ruled out, but most remain dry. High temperatures in the mid to upper 30s.
TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy skies remain with a cold front swinging through the state. Low temperatures in the low 20s.
TOMORROW: Slightly cooler air is expected behind the weak cold front. Skies will be mostly cloudy with clouds decreasing later on in the day. High temperatures near 30 degrees.
7-DAY FORECAST: Our pattern remains quiet early to mid-week. A smaller chance of snow showers is possible late Wednesday. Next weekend, a more potent system will be in the region. It’s too soon for full details, but for now, we are leaning toward being on the warm end of the system resulting in more rain.
