ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A former employee of the Rush Henrietta School District was arraigned on new charges after he allegedly sexually assaulted a child.
Scott Stradley, 52, was arraigned in court Friday morning for first-degree sexual conduct against a child, third-degree sex abuse, and endangering the welfare of a child. He pleaded not guilty and posted bail.
The Monroe County Sheriff's Office said Stradley sexually assaulted a child he knew personally. He was listed as a teacher on the Roth Junior High School website. An order of protection was issued for the child.
Deputies believe this incident did not involve any students in the district. When asked for a statement, the district said they placed him on administrative leave and would cooperate with the investigation.
Stradley was initially arraigned for predatory sexual assault against a child before his case went to a grand jury. His bail was set at $50,000 in cash.
