ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Monroe County residents are invited to this year's Winterfest this weekend. The popular winter event will be held at Mendon Ponds Park this Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The festival kicks off with the brand new Hot Cocoa Races at 10 a.m., which consists of a 5K, a Road 5K, and a half-mile children's race. Some other activities include wagon rides, a cappella performance by the University of Rochester's After Hours A Cappella, a meet-and-greet from the Red Wings' mascots, and more.
