HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) - 13 people, one dog and one cat have been displaced after an apartment fire of Briarfield Road Friday morning. According to officials, around 7 a.m., crews were dispatched to the Carson Square Apartments, located in the 1500 block of Briarfield Road for reports of a fire. Crews arrived to the scene and found heavy smoke coming from the roof of one of the units. No injuries were reported. A WAVY 10 viewer sent an aerial view of the scene, showing multiple units responding to the incident.
