Blog: Melting and milder this weekend
Jan 24, 2025
Yesterday, we did get above the freezing mark, but it wasn't for long. High temps were only in the low-mid 30s, but some temps only made it to the 32 degrees. So there was some melting, but there are still some icy/snowy areas where the higher snow totals fell. Today we will warm it up a bit more, and there will be more melting.
High pressure has moved a bit, but it is still close to the area.
Regional Weather Map
We'll have a very light northeast breeze today. We'll also have partly cloudy skies. High temps will aim for the upper 30s later today.
High Temps Today
We'll be dry through the day, but there may be a stray flurry this evening as a cool front (really a wind-shift) slides through.
Tomorrow that boundary will drop to our south. We'll have a variable wind and fair skies. High temps will be about the same as today, but maybe a degree or two higher.
Forecast Temps Tomorrow
Then Sunday is looking really good. We'll be partly cloudy with highs near 50.
Temperature Trend
We should stay milder into early next week, but there will be some cold air nearby. So we may have to adjust one of the days. There may be some isolated showers on Monday. However, the better chance for a few rain showers will be next Wednesday. We need some rain to wash the salt off of the vehicles. Have a good weekend!
