LFR Engine No. 7. (Jeff Motz/KFOR News)LINCOLN–(KFOR Jan. 24)–An apartment fire late Thursday night in southwest Lincoln. LFR was called to a complex off of South Folsom Street and West Garfield Street. LFR officials say nobody was inside the second-floor unit when the fire started, and the rest of the building was evacuated before firefighters got water on the flames. The fire started in the kitchen and did not spread to any other apartments. The cause of the fire and the total amount of damage are now under investigation.
