UPDATE FROM RICHMOND POLICE (Jan. 24, 2025, 11:45 a.m.) – Travon Hearst turned himself in to Madison County Sheriff’s Office around 11:30 a.m. on January 24, 2025. Hearst will be charged with the following: • Attempted Murder – Domestic Violence • Robbery 1st Degree • Criminal Mischief 2nd Degree Additional charges may follow pending investigation.   ORIGINAL STORY: RICHMOND, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Richmond Police are searching for a suspect following a late-night shooting on Mallory Court. According to the Richmond Police Department, officers responded to a shots-fired call at a residence around 11:30 p.m. Thursday night. When they got there, officers say they found a female victim who had suffered a gunshot wound. Witnesses told police that 29-year-old Travon Hearst of Richmond was visiting a female acquaintance at her home when the victim arrived to confront him. Hearst allegedly pushed the woman to the ground and fired a single shot, grazing her head. Hearst then left the scene before officers arrived. The victim was taken to a medical facility for treatment. Police say Hearst remains at large and is considered armed and dangerous. He was last seen driving a blue Nissan Altima with a temporary Kentucky tag B891979. Residents are urged not to approach Hearst if they see him.
