WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (WGHP) — Tacos. Chicken, steak, shrimp – you name it. Norma and Jesus Santiago have been making tacos and other Mexican staples their entire lives. It only made sense to share what they love, and the idea of running his own food truck and making his own rules was Jesus's dream. They opened their food truck, Cilantro & Tacos, in September of 2021 and made a name for themselves immediately. When they opened their brick-and-mortar location in October of 2024 in Winston-Salem – they took those specials and made a full menu. On average – the Santiagos say they have served 40 orders of tacos and 20 burritos a day since they opened. Cilantro & Tacos is located at 2235 Old Salisbury Road in Winston-Salem.
