Mentor Public Library hosts talk by ‘Ghosts and Legends’ author

Explore the haunting legends of Northern Ohio during a program at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 11, at Mentor Public Library’s Main Branch, 8215 Mentor Ave.
Author and investigative historian William G. Krejci researched several legends for his newest book, “Ghosts and Legends of Northern Ohio,” according to a news release. He investigated the stories of hauntings at the Lonesome Lock on the Erie Canal, Columbiana County’s Bowman Cemetery, and Rider’s Inn in Painesville.
Krejci has written several books on local history, usually with a macabre twist. He is also the owner, operator and host of Strange and Spooky Cleveland Tours.
