ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – Students at World of Inquiry School No.58 got to see a hot air balloon in their own school gym. This experience offered a lesson in science and wonder of hot air flight. The balloon was inflated using fans in the gym and students were invited inside the balloon to explore its construction. All of this was made possible by the Rochester Education Foundations Smile program. Hot air balloons will visit sic more elementary schools in March and April with over 3,500 students benefiting from this experience.
