(KRON) -- The NBA All-Star Game is set to happen in San Francisco next month, and the city's biggest star was named one of the game's 10 starters.
The NBA revealed the starters on Thursday, and Stephen Curry was among them. It will be Curry's 11th All-Star Game.

The All-Star starters are determined by a combination of votes by fans, players and media members. The other Western Conference starters are Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (Oklahoma City Thunder), Kevin Durant (Phoenix Suns), LeBron James (Los Angeles Lakers) and Nikola Jokic (Denver Nuggets).
While Curry is a nominal starter, he will not don the traditional Western Conference uniform. The NBA changed the All-Star Game format this year, as the 24 All-Stars will be split into three teams drafted by former players and current analysts Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith and Shaquille O'Neal.
Curry, 36, is averaging 22.6 points, 4.9 rebounds and 6.3 assists per game. Aside from the 2019-20 season in which he only played five games, that is his lowest scoring output since his third year in the NBA.
Curry is now the franchise's all-time leader in All-Star appearances. He has been voted an starter in 10 of his 11 games. Curry was the 2022 All-Star Game MVP.
Still, Curry is the Warriors' leader in scoring, assists, minutes and 3-point shooting. Despite his production, the Warriors are just 21-22 and currently do not occupy a postseason spot.
