PRINCETON — The Lawrence High boys basketball won the outright CVC Valley Division title with a 52-37 victory over Princeton Day on Thursday night. Jeff Molinelli’s Cardinals (13-4, 6-0 CVC Valley) won their eighth straight game. The Panthers (6-7, 2-3 CVC Valley) had a two-game winning run halted. WW-PN 54, Allentown 51 ALLENTOWN — Malachi Jeffers-Viera scored 21 points, Ryan Jean-Baptiste added 17 and the Knights (14-2, 4-1 CVC Valley) held off a surprisingly game effort from the Redbirds (3-10, 2-3 CVC Valley). Mattox Watson had 15 points and Tyler Pusczko added 12 for Allentown, which led, 22-11, after one quarter. Hamilton West 62, Steinert 53 HAMILTON — Nakye Bradshaw netted 19 points, Sean Turner nearly had a triple-double with 17 points, nine rebounds and seven assists and Karelle Miller finished with 17 points as the Hornets (2-15, 2-3 CVC Valley) got a victory over the township rival Spartans (1-14, 0-5 CVC Valley). Mason Grant scored a game-high 20 points for Steinert. Hopewell Valley 43, Robbinsville 39 ROBBINSVILLE — Milan Desai put in 20 points, Kyle Yadamiec added 10 and the Bulldogs (13-3, 5-1 CVC Colonial) took a half game lead in the Colonial Division with a slim victory over the Ravens (8-9, 2-4 CVC Colonial). Tyler Bunnell scored 15 for Robbinsville. The Bulldogs can win the outright Colonial title with a victory over Trenton on Jan. 30. The Tornadoes’ game at Princeton was moved to Friday. If the Trenton wins that game, the contest against Hopewell will determine the division winner. Notre Dame 65, Nottingham 51 LAWRENCE TWP. — Will Foley made five 3s on his way to 27 points, Charlie Schurr added 18 and the Irish (9-6, 3-3 CVC Colonial) rolled past the Northstars (6-9, 0-5 CVC Colonial) for their fourth straight win. Jayden Williams led Nottingham with 14 points.
