Our temperatures fall to the upper single digits by daybreak and, with our westerly winds blowing in between 5 and 15 mph, our Friday morning wind chill values will be in the single digits below 0°. Even though conditions are still cold the next couple of days, our wind chills are not as intense as the arctic blast we felt earlier this week. Friday's winds become southwesterly and the clouds clear to make it a mostly sunny day. The southwesterly winds end the lake effect flow from the NW, so no Friday snowflakes are in the forecast. Highs will be near 20°. Over the weekend, Saturday's outlook has the potential for temps rising to near freezing with some snow showers moving through. Any accumulation will be light (less than a half-inch). A weak front moves through Saturday night into Sunday and the colder air behind it will take high temperatures down into the mid-20s Sunday. Just a coating of snow is in the forecast on Saturday with a dry, but colder Sunday coming. It will be much warmer next week with highs in the mid-to-upper 30s to around 40° for the entire week and even into the weekend. Morning: Clouds clearing.
