ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – A teen has been arrested after allegedly hitting a family member with a sword multiple times Thursday. According to Rochester Police, officers responded to the home on Clifford Avenue for the report of family trouble with a possible knife involved. When officers arrived, they found a 29-year-old man with significant cuts to the face and head area. Rochester Police said an investigation found that the man was involved in an argument with a 17-year-old family member when the teen used a sword to cut him multiple times. The teen was taken into custody at the scene, and the family member was transported to the hospital for what is being considered non-life-threatening injuries. This incident is still under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
