KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Fox4KC) – A warming trend beings to arrive in Kansas City this weekend, but Sunday is likely the coldest day in the near future. Though it will not be as cold as last week's Chiefs victory over the Texans, when temperature at kickoff was 23 degrees, wind chills will still be a factor for the Bills vs. Chiefs game.

Tailgating forecast
Early Sunday morning will be the coldest and cloudiest part of the day. Sunrise temperatures will be hovering near 20 degrees with a wind chill around 15. Expect morning clouds to be thick, with overcast skies and a light north breeze adding to the chill.
By early Sunday afternoon, temperatures will top out around the freezing mark, with still mostly cloudy skies. Wind chills will be in the middle 20s as winds remain fairly light out of the northwest.
Game time forecast
By kickoff at 5:30 p.m. local time (6:30 ET), skies will be clearing over Arrowhead Stadium but temperatures will be dropping. Air temperatures will be around 30 degrees with wind chills in the middle 20s. Skies will be turning mostly clear for the game. But expect temperatures to keep dropping throughout the game.
Postgame forecast
By postgame, temperatures will have fallen into the lower and middle 20s, with feels like temperatures back in the upper teens. Skies should be clear though but it will be cold. Make sure to have warm layers.
