FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A fire at a home in Fresno broke out Thursday morning, causing significant damage to the back of a house and displacing 11 people.
Fire crews say they report observing a substantial amount of black smoke while en route to the scene around 8:30 a.m., to a home near Kenmore Drive and Brentwood Avenue.
A downed power line impacted access to the backyard for firefighters, slowing down the progress of fighting the fire, according to fire officials.
The fire was primarily burning in the back of the house. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
