(NEXSTAR) — A popular moisturizer sold at numerous retailers nationwide is being recalled by the Food and Drug Administration, with the FDA giving its second-highest risk-level for those who use the product. The FDA says about 2,756 jars of First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream Coconut Vanilla are being recalled due to a deviation from Current Good Manufacturing Practice regulations, which regulates quality, safety, consistency and packaging in drug or cosmetic products. A class II recall means "a situation in which use of or exposure to a violative product may cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences or where the probability of serious adverse health consequences is remote," according to the FDA. The recalled items are only First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream, which can be identified by: Size: 396.8 g or 14 oz. Contains 0.5% colloidal oatmeal, according to its label Coconut vanilla scent Lot number 24D44 with an expiration date of 4/10/2026 Lot number 24D45 with an expiration date of 4/11/2026 Consumers should immediately stop using the affected products, which were sold online at First Aid Beauty and Amazon (among others), in addition to retail locations like Sephora, Ulta Beauty and Target. First Aid Beauty said it has reached out to known customers directly, which included "proactively sending a replacement Ultra Repair Cream Grapefruit" and included directions to stop using the product immediately.
