COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – An Asian restaurant featuring all-you-can-eat hibachi, sushi and seafood recently opened its doors in west Columbus.
The City Buffet began welcoming customers at 3670 Soldano Blvd. on Saturday. Along with sushi and seafood, the restaurant offers build-your-own pho, stir-fry and hibachi. The eatery contains over 240 seats, according to a spokesperson.
“Our team works hard to ensure that each dish is not only delicious but also an experience you can enjoy with family and friends,” the restaurant’s website states. “Whether you’re here for a casual gathering or a special celebration, we’re committed to making your visit memorable.”
The City Buffet took over the building that previously housed the Chinese restaurant Mark Pi’s Feast of the Dragon, which permanently closed in the spring. The Ohio chain still has six other locations in the state, according to its website.
The new locally owned eatery offers a lunch buffet that costs $13.99 and is available Monday through Thursday. Its dinner buffet is available every day of the week, costing $18.99 on Mondays through Thursdays and $19.99 on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The City Buffet also offers carryout with pricing by the pound.
The restaurant’s hours include Mondays through Thursdays – and Sundays – from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. On Fridays and Saturdays, it opens at the same time but its hours extend to 9:30 p.m.
