ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- A student was taken to the hospital after a stabbing was reported at Meade High School Thursday morning, according to the Anne Arundel County Police Department (AACPD). Details are limited; however, in a post on the X platform around 11:20 a.m., police said the stabbing was reported on the high school's campus in the Severn area. Their condition is currently unknown. According to the police, all students were being held in their classrooms and the high school was placed on lockdown. "No one is allowed in or out of the building at this time, so please do not go to the school to pick up your students," said AACPD in a post on social media. This is a developing story.
