WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said a man was arrested in connection to a sexual abuse case that happened over a decade ago in Northeast D.C. Police said that on Jan. 12, 2012, the man approached the victim in the 200 block of Nicholson Street, pulled out a gun and demanded the victim's items. In an update on Jan. 22, 2025, D.C. police arrested and charged Cristian Arteaga, 35, of no fixed address with First Degree Sexual Abuse while Armed.
