CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) - The Chicopee Fire Department was sent to Newell Street for a basement fire on Wednesday. Detectives looking for missing Chicopee woman possibly driving Nissan SUV with Connecticut plates The fire department states the only occupant of the home was able to escape before crews arrived. MAP: Newell Street The fire was put out quickly and no injuries were reported. There is no word on the cause of the fire at this time.
