Temecula honors Martin Luther King Jr. with donation drive

The city of Temecula is partnering with Mission of Hope this week, honoring Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy of service and community.
They are hosting a donation drive through Saturday, Jan. 25, at the Temecula Welcome Center, 28690 Mercedes St., in Temecula.
Nonperishable food items and personal care items are being collected every day at the Welcome Center, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays, and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25.
“These donations will help provide vital support to individuals and families in need throughout the community,” a city news release says.
The week-long drive ends at 4 p.m. Saturday.
