BOSTON, Mass. (WLNE) — Federal agents in Massachusetts have taken several people into federal custody as the Trump administration begins enforcing new immigration policies.
In Chelsea, a man was taken into federal custody Wednesday morning outside of a Market Basket location.
There was also a similar scene in East Boston, with both arrests sparking mixed reactions.
Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey also weighed in on the controversy saying that there’s nothing to worry about and she doesn’t plan to get in the way of federal immigration officials.
