PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Thursday in federal court the first legal challenge to president Trump’s executive order ending birthright citizenship is being heard. 22 states, including Rhode Island and Massachusetts have filed lawsuits against the order. The Attorney General of Massachusetts Joy Campbell weighed in on the controversy saying the Trump administration’s executive order is a blatant violation of the constitution.
