Well, there’s a first time for everything. The Eagles on Wednesday announced they teamed up with The Realest to sell commemorative snow from Sunday’s 28-22 divisional round win over the Rams. Yes, seriously. And after it being listed for less than 24 hours, it has officially sold out. 100 fans were able to get their hands on snow from Lincoln Financial Field’s playing surface. It was collected after the win, carefully preserved and authenticated to allow fans to have a piece of Eagles history. A unique one at that. A pint was listed for fifty dollars, representing the total points scored in the game. If you placed an order, it will be shipped using dry ice to maintain its natural state. Fans are then encouraged to keep the container frozen to keep it in its authentic state. So, every time you go to grab something from your freezer, you can be reminded of just how cold you were on the day the Eagles advanced to the NFC Championship Game. You gotta give them points for creativity, right? “What are they doing, like scooping it and putting it in that thing like ice cream?” Darius Slay said Wednesday when asked about it. “That’s crazy. So somebody is going to really buy snow?” Little did he know it was already sold out. “People bought snow? … That’s why this is the best city, man. They passionate around here. “We buying snow, I love it.” Subscribe to Eagle Eye anywhere you get your podcasts: Apple Podcasts | YouTube Music | Spotify | Stitcher | Simplecast | RSS | Watch on YouTube
