I-12 WB at Sherwood Forest Blvd/Exit 4 CLEARED!10:30 a.m.: The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces that the second Plaquemine/Sunshine ferry in Iberville Parish will return to service tomorrow, January 23, at 3 pm. The 24-hour service that had been in effect since Monday due to winter weather will end tomorrow at 8 pm. All normal ferry operations will resume on Friday morning at 4:30 am.As a reminder, the Plaquemine/Sunshine ferry’s normal hours of operations are as follows:Primary ferry:Monday through Friday from 4:30 am until 7:45 pmSaturday and Sunday from 9:30 am until 6:45 pmSecond ferry:Monday through Friday from 5:15 am until 9:00 amAll DOTD ferry information can be found at this link.Permalink| Comments
